The Farkas Quintet can be heard in the CD box “Discovering Dutch ensembles” of the Nederlandse Wereldomroep.

In the autumn of 2014 the CD was released with works by Ravel, Milhaud and Françaix.

In March 2015, the Farkas Quintet initiated a project with Antoine Bodar. A new arrangement of Haydn’s “Sieben letzte Worte” premiered including a CD recording.

In 2017, the Farkas Quintet made a live recording of Arnold Schoenberg’s famous and at the same time infamous Quintet, because of its difficulty. It is the only known live recording of this iconic and complicated work in the world.
