Hans Wolters studied with Ernest Rombout at the Utrecht Conservatory.
During his studies he was first oboist of the European Union Youth Orchestra.
After having been principal oboist of the Norrköpings Symfoniorkester (Sweden), the orchestra of the Kungliga Opera Stockholm and the Brabants Orkest, Hans Wolters has been principal oboist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since August 2007.
He is also a member of the Combattimento Consort Amsterdam.
As a soloist, Hans Wolters has performed with the National Youth Orchestra, Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Brabants Orkest, Staatsphilharmonie Sibiu, Filharmonica Brasov, Nieuw Ensemble, Combattimento Consort Amsterdam and the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie.
